As you can see from the picture the majority of fasteners in this kit are self colour
self colour fasteners are the traditional fasteners used in many vintage cars
and are made up of black oxide and a wax/oil to help prevent corrosion

The 1/4 & 5/16 Nyloc Nuts, 1/4 x 1 1/2 Bolts and the 1/4 & 5/16 washers are all zinc plated.
